Very tidy Wolseley 4/44 spotted at the show - XP Type engine fitted to the 4/44 was the last real Morris/Wolseley type engine before the BMC Series units became the norm. Although at 1250cc and producing only 46bhp the 4/44 was always somewhat under powered. Certainly less power than the 4/50 it replaced, and only marginally more than the Morris Oxford MO with its side-valve unit.
