The photo was taken in the Reinaert de Vosstraat on the corner of Vier Heemskinderenstraat in Amsterdam. Behind the Opel is a tobacconist's where the author regularly tried to snatch away a "Full Speed" picture, a famous series of automobile photos in the 1960s. The Moonstone Grey 1950 Wolseley was owned by a nearby greengrocer who used to attach a small trailer to his 6/80 and collect his merchandise at the wholesale market a few miles from here.
